Anoka County Soliciting Feedback on Transit Needs Study
Anoka County is conducting a transit needs study and is reaching out to area businesses and residents –– people who use transit and those who do not –– for feedback. Those who complete a survey for the study, found at https://anoka-transit-wsbeng.hub.arcgis.com/, can enter a drawing to win a $100 gift card to a local retailer of their choosing. The survey will be available until the end of September.

Columbia Golf Course has canceled all golf tournaments this summer. The Edison Community Sports Foundation Golf Tournament has been pushed back from July 27 to Aug. 24. Registration fees have been lowered to $75 per golfer. For more info, email edisoncommunitysports@gmail.com.

Memorial Blood Centers will offer two blood donation opportunities in August. On Aug. 17, the Bloodmobile will be at Indeed Brewing, 711 15th Avenue NE, from noon-5 pm. Quilters sought for CH Centennial quilt
When the City of Columbia Heights turns 100 in 2021, a commemorative quilt will be on display. A community quilting group will assemble it this fall. Centennial planners ask residents to share their favorite part of Columbia Heights.
