AFCAC seeks members, meets monthly
The Above the Falls Community Advisory Council (AFCAC) is a community-led organization made up of representatives from neighborhoods, businesses, and environmental organizations. Membership is open (not appointed) and everyone is welcome. AFCAC is especially looking for people from Bottineau, Columbia Park, Sheridan, and St. Anthony West.

The Minnesota Department of Health recommends that any Minnesotan who has attended a protest, vigil, or community cleanup get tested for COVID-19. Nicollet Island cleanup and celebration
The Friends of the Mississippi River will host a cleanup and celebration at Nicollet Island July 11, 11 am-2 pm. Volunteers will collect trash from the shoreline and from the forested areas of Nicollet Island to prevent pollution and improve water quality in the Mississippi River.
