Memorial Blood Centers will collect blood donations 8:30-11:10 am Wednesday, Feb. 19 at the Cuningham Group, 201 Main Street SE, #325. Memorial Blood Centers needs more than 2,000 donors to step up each week to meet the needs of hospital patients in our community. New and returning donors of all blood types are urgently needed. Alexandra House's annual Hope Gala typically raises a significant amount of funds (the goal was to raise $165,000) which support the organization in the first half of the year. These funds are so critical for the organization to provide direct services to domestic and sexual violence survivors. BUT victim/survivors need our community – now more than ever – to ensure Alexandra House has the financial resources to care for them at the worst moment in their lives.
