Pillsbury A-Mill Artist Lofts opens for Art-A-Whirl

Pillsbury A-Mill Artist Lofts, 315 Main St. SE, will opens its doors to celebrate its Art-A-Whirl inaugural, Friday, May 20, 5-10 p.m., Saturday, May 21, noon-8 p.m., and Sunday, May 22, noon-5 p.m. Visitors can ride the Minnesota Transportation Museum’s ’50s vintage bus from the Grain Belt complex at Marshall Street and 13th Avenue NE. More than 100 artists will display, sell and demonstrate their craft. Live entertainment in the performance hall will include music, dance, comedy, and written and spoken word. Eme Lennick will perform her one-woman show. A-Mill’s Sarah Stonich will interview former mayor R.T. Rybak. There will be sample food and beverage offerings by culinary artists.
