Days for Girls Sew-a-Thon

The Minneapolis City of Lakes Rotary Club is sponsoring a Days for Girls Sew-a-Thon at Northeast United Methodist Church, 2510 Cleveland Street NE, on Saturday, Feb. 4, 9-11 am.  Join Rotary members in sewing and assembling feminine hygiene kits for distribution to girls in developing countries so they can continue to stay in school and have choices in their lives. No sewing experience is required. All supplies will be provided. Judy Johnson, Twin Cities Days for Girls Coordinator with the Maple Grove Rotary Club will guide the kit-making process.
