Celebrate East Side Neighborhood Services’ Camp Bovey with a family event. Food and beer trucks, ice cream truck, camp crafts and a s’mores station are part of the action, as is a camp song sing-along at 6 pm. The G.B. Leighton rock band takes the stage at 6:30 for a kids’ dance party complete with glow sticks and a bubble machine. Friday, Oct. 1, 6-8 pm, East Side Neighborhood Services, 1700 2nd St. NE.
