On Saturday, Nov. 5, 7:30 pm, soprano Sarah Jackson and lutenist Thomas Walker will perform excerpts from Elizabethan composer John Dowland’s collection, “A Pilgrimes Solace.” This haunting music will be sung in the transcendent acoustics of the Romanesque atmosphere of Holy Cross Catholic Church, 1621 University Ave. NE. Admission is free and there is ample parking.
