A “Wild and Rare” Talk

Adam Regn Arvidson is director of strategic planning for the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board, and an award-winning author of two non-fiction books about nature and the environment, including most recently, Wild and Rare: Tracking Endangered Species in the Upper Midwest. Wild and Rare is an exploration of the ways in which humans are knowingly and unknowingly interconnected with the natural world, through the lens of 10 of our state’s most iconic species and their landscapes – lillies, mussels, plovers, roseroot, butterflies, and the lynx, among them. 7 pm, Thursday, Dec. 10, via Zoom.
