AARP will present a free hands-on workshop for users 50 and older to learn how to get the most from their mobile devices, Friday, Sept. 27, at Columbia Heights Public Library, 3939 Central Ave. NE. Friendly tech guides will answer questions. Topics include texting, photos, apps, maps and voice dictation.
Classes will include: Intro to iPhones, 9-10:30 am; Beyond the Basics iPhones, 11am-noon; Intro to iPhones, 1:30-3 pm; and Beyond the Basics iPhones, 3:30-4:30 pm. Apple iPhone devices will be provided for practice. Registration: 1-866-591-8105 or aarp.cvent.com/tektwct.
