Activities for children at Columbia Heights Library
Columbia Heights Public Library, 3939 Central Ave. NE, is offering the following upcoming activities for children and teens. For more information, call 763-706-3690, or visit www.columbiaheightsmn.gov.
LEGO Club, Thursday, Feb. 9, the second Thursday of each month, 3:30-4:30 p.m., kids in grades K-6 can visit the library after school for a LEGO building program. LEGO bricks are provided. Registration is not required.
Maker Club, Wednesday, Feb. 22, the last Wednesday of each month, 3:30-4:30 p.m., kids in grades K-6 who like to tinkerer, create, and make craft, can visit after school for STEAM related projects. Registration is not required.
4-H Tech Wizards, Tuesdays, through Feb 21, 4-6 p.m., a free program that engages youth in grades 5-8 in small group mentoring around technology and STEM concepts. Registration is required.
Storytime, through Feb. 25, with songs, books, rhymes and fun: Toddler Storytime, geared toward ages 18 months to 3 years, Mondays, 10:30-10:50 a.m., Family Storytime for all ages, Tuesdays, 10:30-11 a.m., and Baby Read, Baby Grow, for birth- 24 months, Thursdays, 10:30-11 a.m. Registration is not required.
