Bottineau Park, 2000 Second St. NE, is hosting a variety of activities and events for seniors.
Indoor Walking Group, Thursdays, 10 a.m.-noon, walk on a smooth, indoor track that’s free from curbs and ice. Walkers should wear comfortable shoes and clothing. A $1 donation is appreciated for snacks.
Health insurance counseling is available year-round on the third Thursday of the month, 1-3 p.m. For an appointment, call 612-781-5096. Counseling is also available by calling the Senior LinkAge Line®, at 1-800-333-2433, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Deaf or hard-of-hearing clients may call the Minnesota Relay at 1-800-627-3529 and ask for the Senior LinkAge Line® number.
