Minnesota from the Road: Storyteller Doug Ohman: Sat., Nov. 5, 11 am: Heartland Lakes Tour. Take a road trip from your chair with historian, photographer, and storyteller Doug Ohman. Doug has published 14 books, all about Minnesota. Registration required.
Library Book Club: Wed., Nov 16, 10 am: “The Name of the Wind” by Patrick Rothfuss
Organizing Your Important Documents: Mon., Nov. 21, 5:30 pm. Now is the time to organize your important documents. Join Toastmaster Steve Smith for this important, informative class. Registrants will leave this class with a free binder and a system to get your important passwords and documents (tax, identification, property, etc.) in order, once and for all. Registration required.
Watercolor Greeting Cards: Fri., Dec. 2, 2 pm. Create hand-painted watercolor greeting cards to give your friends and family. Learn different wet and dry watercolor techniques to layer and blend one-of-a-kind cards for any occasion. This program is funded by the Minnesota Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund. Registration is required.
Conversation Circle: Mondays, 5:30 pm and Thursdays, 2 pm. A casual gathering of adult English-language learners who meet at the library to practice their speaking skills in a group setting.
