Affordable Housing Funding strategy meeting

Hennepin County recently approved a new strategy to increase availability of supportive housing that combines social services with long-term stable housing for households with extremely-low incomes. Hennepin County Housing and Redevelopment Authority Chair Irene Fernando will host a  discussion and workshop around the local housing landscape and the county’s current and future housing activities Tuesday, July 30
5-7 p.m., United Labor Centre, 312 Central Avenue SE. A brief presentation by county housing staff will be followed by breakout discussions facilitated by community and industry leaders. The goal of these discussions will be to provide guidance and feedback to county leaders to support successful implementation of our new supportive housing funding strategy.
