American School of Storytelling at The Briar

Storyteller and community activist Rose McGee joins American School of Storytelling founder Loren Niemi for an evening of traditional, personal and holiday tales at The Briar, 1231 Washington Street NE, Wednesday, Dec. 14. McGee is founder of the internationally recognized nonprofit Sweet Potato Comfort Pie®. Locally and nationally, Rose McGee is a well-known speaker, storyteller, and activist who is recognized as one of Minnesota’s 50 Over 50, a member of Women Who Really Cook, the Golden Valley and Minnesota League of Women Voters and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority.
