Sisters Anne and Lisa Elias will exhibit at NE Sculpture I Gallery Factory Friday, July 12 through Sunday August 11. The opening reception is July 12, 5 to 8 p.m. Gallery hours are Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays 12 to 5 p.m. or by appointment, call 612-743-6664. 1720 Madison St. NE #14 (behind the Casket Arts Building in the Northeast Minneapolis Arts District).
Anne Elias is a multidisciplinary Artist. The ink jet photos in this exhibition are based on William Faulkner’s novel, Go Down, Moses. The photos as well as the paintings are an exploration of the physical world and the mythical world, specifically Atropos of the fates.
Northeast-based artist Lisa Elias has been forging and hammering with heat for over 25 years. Her work has been integrated into our sidewalks, landscapes and neighborly homes with her graceful design inspired from the outdoors. www.eliasmetalstudio.com
