“Art at the Hive” with Suyao Tian

The Hive Salon, 1621 Hennepin Ave. E., will host “Art at the Hive” with local artist and curator Suyao Tian, through March 9.

She mainly uses watercolor medium, and includes different pen marks to define the details of each painting to give the audience layers and depth of the painting. She uses color pencil, ink marks, and a variety of pen marks in each painting.
