ART365 working artist dates

Organized by Northeast Minneapolis Arts District volunteers, ART365 invites the public to visit one featured working artist’s studio in the Northeast Minneapolis Arts District each day of the year, usually noon-5 pm. It promises more individual attention than the large open studio events, and invites artists to visit each other.
ART365 participants known so far in the next few weeks are:
Thursday, March 5, First Thursday in the Arts District, selected studios open 5-9 pm, in the Northrup King Building and the Solar Arts Building;
Friday, March 6, noon-5 pm, Follow the Muse, the studio and gallery of Northeast artists Marc Clements and K. Daphnae Koop, with their own work and art by other artists, which is typically unusual and experimental, inspirational, or non-representational;
Thursday, March 12, noon-5 pm, Fiber Works MPLS, see the work of students wrapping up a week-long spring break kids camp and receive a fiber gift;
Friday, March 13, noon-5, pm, Emily Gray Koehler, printmaker, come to her studio, in the Thorp Building, #137, to watch her print the edition of her latest endeavor, a large narrative woodcut for the upcoming Poet/Artist Collaboration hosted by Red Wing Arts;
Saturday, March 14, noon-5 pm, get a tour of Clay Squared to Infinity with artist Josh Blanc who will show visitors his unique tile making process and guide a tour of the tile showroom/studio, Flux Arts Building, Studio A, 2505 Howard St. NE;
Sunday, March 15, 10 am-2 pm. Solar Arts during the Winter Market, Solar Arts Building, 11 15th Ave. NE, several artists on the second floor will be open; and
Saturday, March 21, noon-5 pm, Holland Arts Building, 607 22nd Ave. NE, join Justin Hossle of Hossle Woodworks for an afternoon of cutting board classes, product info, and sales.
