At the Hewing: Enhanced Photographs by Candy Kuehn

Although best known for her fabric sculptures, costumes, creative millinery, and ceramics, Candy Kuehn has recently been experimenting with iPhone photography and apps. The results are fantastical images that blend the realistic and the abstract to create magical landscapes of color, movement, and mystery. The Hewing, 300 N. Washington Ave., will host a free happy hour, catered reception with cash bar, that’s open to the public on Monday, Nov. 18, 6-8 pm. An artist-led tour will happen at 7 pm.
