The Friends of the St. Anthony Library will host an Author Talk: “Not a Novel? The Steadfast Short Story” with author Beth Mayer, Monday, March 23, 6:30 pm, at St. Anthony Library, 2941 Pentagon Drive.
Mayer, an award-winning author, will read from her debut collection of short stories, “We Will Tell You Otherwise,” share some thoughts on the remarkable form that seems here to stay, and answer audience questions about short stories.
