The 11th annual Battle of the Birdhouses silent auction will be held at Bywood East, 3427 Central Ave. NE on Saturday, July 9, 9 a.m.-1 p.m. All of the proceeds from the event go to the Residents’ Sunshine Club which provides outings, entertainment and holiday gifts for residents at Bywood East. In addition to the large assortment of birdhouses to bid on, there will be grilled hotdogs, pop, and chips.
