Bundles of Love spring fling fundraiser

Columbia Heights and other local area neighbors are invited to a pancake breakfast and craft and bake sale to benefit Bundles of Love Charity, Saturday, May 21, 8:30 a.m.-noon, with breakfast served 8:30 a.m.-10:30 a.m., at the Fraternal Order of the Eagles, 563 Old Highway 8 NW, in New Brighton. Breakfast will include pancakes, sausage, eggs, fruit cups, orange juice, and coffee. The cost is $10. Funds raised will be used to purchase fabric, sewing supplies, and baby needs. Bundles of Love Charity serves 25 Minnesota counties including Anoka, Hennepin, Carver, Scott, Ramsey, and Washington counties. Participants can meet volunteers and learn about the types of volunteer opportunities that are available. Tickets may be purchased by May 14, by e-mailing Leanne31@comcast.net, and can be picked up at the door, or at the Bundles of Love work site at 445 Old Highway 8 NW.
