California Building open for Art-A-Whirl® 2024

The California Building, 2205 California St. NE, will be open during Art-A-Whirl® 2024, May 17-19. Hours are Friday, May 17, 5-10 pm; Saturday, May 18, 12-8 pm; and Sunday, May 19, 12-5 pm. Throughout the building, artists will host family-friendly demos and classes in areas such as ceramics, jewelry, painting, woodworking, and more! Additionally, FOCI Minnesota Center for Glass Arts will perform live glassblowing demonstrations from their mobile studio on Saturday and Sunday from 12-4 pm. The building will host a variety of food offerings, from food trucks Tacos Los 4 Carnales MN and Pretty Great Cheesecakes, to chocolatier Palma Delights, pairing nicely with the coffee offerings from onsite Mojo Coffee Gallery on the first floor. Additionally, patrons can enjoy live music in the side lobby, as a part of the “Mailroom Music Series” from musicians Skunk Hollow, Emily Boyajian, Josie Hubler and JudyTones.
