Candidate Forum for Columbia Heights Mayor and City Council

Attend to get informed and help decide the future of your city on Wednesday, Oct. 12, 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the City Council Chambers, 590 40th Ave. NE. The event will be taped for later broadcast on North Metro Cable in Columbia Heights.  It will also be accessible through the Northeaster’s website starting the week of Oct. 17. Candidates have been asked for opening remarks and a “candidate creativity” sendoff  at the end.

Questions from the public, in writing, will be accepted at the forum and in advance. Our aim is to vary the length of the answer periods, so feel free to submit questions of any complexity to provide insight into all candidates’ positions and personalities. The Northeaster, as sponsor, reserves the right to choose the questions asked.  We will follow fairness guidelines used by League of Women Voters.
