Casket Cinema “A Secret Love” Zoom Q&A

Northeast Minneapolis micro-cinema salon, Casket Cinema, serenades you in February with a valentine of a film, “A Secret Love,” with a virtual Q&A discussion of the move, Thursday, Feb. 11, at 8 pm.

The documentary follows former All-American Girls Professional Baseball League catcher Terry Donahue and her life partner Pat Henschel. Filmed by one of their grand nephews, Chris Bolan, the film documents his great aunt in her elder years as the couple comes out to their family about their lesbian relationship and then continues this emotional run around the bases as they move into assisted living.

Because of the pandemic, this will be a virtual screening. Pre-watch the film on Netflix prior to the Feb. 11 discussion. Special guests, including photographer Terry Gydesen (others TBA), will discuss the film with Casket Cinema co-founders Wilbur Ince and Mark Wojahn.
