Event Navigation
Casket Cinema, 681 17th Ave. NE, #145, in the old Northwestern Casket Building, will kick off its 11th season with a special Friday night screening, Sept. 14, at 8 pm (doors at 7:30 pm), of the documentaries “8 Billion Angels” and “To Kid or Not To Kid,” two films which are in post-production and will premiere at festivals next year. Special guests Dave Gardner of World Population Balance and filmmakers Terry Spahr and Maxine Trump will talk with Casket Cinema co-founder Wilbur Ince after their films via zoom or pre-recorded conversation.
This will be a fascinating night for anyone who loves docs and is interested in the subject of global population, economic growth, and to have a child or not have a child. It will also be a very good event for those who want to get to know the organization World Population Balance. Recommended donations of $10-$20 will go to the filmmakers to help them complete their films. Bring friends and BYOB.
