Larisa Netterlund, a resident of Audubon Park, brings live theatre back to Northeast August 5-15 as one of only a handful of indoor, in-person productions at Minnesota Fringe Festival. Channel is a ghost story, following a lighting designer (Elizabeth Efteland) working alone in the theatre. Theatrical designers have often been an afterthought as theatre companies have pivoted to virtual and outdoor productions over the past year. This original production, created collaboratively, intentionally showcases the work of light/sound designer Shannon Elliott. Dogwatch is also offering limited, live virtual showings of the show for audiences that are unable to attend in person. Performed by Elizabeth Efteland, directed by Larisa Netterlund, designed by Shannon Elliott, stage management by Kate Bender, and additional voice talent provided by Brighid Burkhalter, Kari Steinbach, Steve Rausch, Emilia and Teddy Netterlund. Playing at The Crane Theater, 2303 Kennedy St NE.
