The Cine Latino Film Festival returns to The Main Cinema, 115 SE Main St., Oct. 9-13, for five days of Spanish-language films, visiting filmmakers, fiestas and food trucks. This year’s Cine Latino will feature award-winning films from Berlin, Docs Barcelona, Malaga, Seattle and Sundance Film Festivals, along with a full slate of filmmaker conversations, live music, dance performances and nightly fiestas at Pracna to engage the Twin Cities’ growing Spanish-speaking populations as well as global cinephiles. Films include “Igualada,” a Mexican documentary; “Memories of a Burning Body,” Costa Rica/Spain; “Rioja: The Land of a Thousand Wines,” Spanish documentary; “La Singla,” Spanish documentary; “La Suprema,” Colombia fiction; and another fiction film, “Through Rocks and Clouds,” Peru/Chile.
