Civic Education and Engagement in Minneapolis Public Schools: The Student Voice

The League of Women Voters Minneapolis’ May Civic Buzz is “Civic Education and Engagement in Minneapolis Public Schools: The Student Voice.” It will be held Thursday, May 9, 7-8:30 pm, Bryn Mawr Elementary School, 252 Upton Ave S., featuring Dr. Aimee Fearing, Senior Officer of Academics with Minneapolis Public Schools and a panel of Minneapolis high school students. The program will include an overview of the current civic education curriculum as well as insights on civic education and involvement from the latest generation of students.
