Columbia Academy Presents Annie Jr.

The 2016 Columbia Academy Theater Program presents Annie Jr., based on the popular comic strip and adapted from the Tony Award-winning Best Musical, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, Dec. 15-17, 7 p.m., at Columbia Heights High School Performing Arts Center, 1400 49th Ave. NE.

The musical focuses on little orphan Annie, who started with next-to-nothing and is determined to find the parents who abandoned her. Students will perform the hit songs “It’s the Hard Knock Life” and Tomorrow.” Annie Jr. is directed by Theater Teacher Tara Lorence. The cost is $3 per person or $10 maximum per family.
