The City of Columbia Heights will have a variety of festivities throughout the year to celebrate the City’s Centennial, which began July 21, 2020, and leads up to the centennial on July 21, 2021.
Some of the upcoming activities include:
Spring Family Fun Night, March 29;
Public Safety Open House, April 10;
Brushstrokes Painting Class (ages 55-plus), April 23;
Sister City Tree Planting Ceremony, April 30;
Citywide Garage Sale, June 12;
Tasty Pizza Medallion Hunt Begins, June 23;
Community Picnic and Art & Craft Fair, June 24;
Jamboree Carnival, June 24-27;
Lions’ Jamboree Parade, June 25;
Jamboree Fireworks, June 26;
Lions’ Waffle Breakfast, June 27;
Centennial Carnival Event, July 17;
Bootstrap Book Movie and Reception, July 21; and
Roaring ’20s Dinner/Dance hosted by Columbia Heights Lions, July 24.
