Columbia Heights Candlelight Vigil in Memory of COVID Deaths

First Lutheran Church, in conjunction with HeightsNEXT and St. Matthew’s Church, will hold a Columbia Heights Candlelight Vigil in Memory of 200,000 U.S. COVID deaths, Sunday, Nov. 1, 6-7 pm, at the Huset Park Bandshell, 40^th Avenue NE and Jefferson Street NE.

Participants will gather to mourn the loss of life and be inspired by community leaders with reflections, music, and celebrations of life from many cultures in our community. All ages and neighbors welcome. Registration is not required. The event is outdoors. Masks are required. Candles will be provided.
