Crafterdays: What are Saturdays for? How about art instead of laundry? The second Saturday of the month is CRAFTERDAY. Bring your coffee and your craft. Bring your art (not too messy), crafts, and any other project you’d like to work on. You can learn skills from one another or just work on your own project surrounded by other crafters. It’s like an old school sewing circle but with WiFi. Cost is only $5 per date or $12 for all three sessions. Please call the Community Ed office at 763-528-4517 for this special rate. Dec. 14, 9 am-12 pm. $5.
Holiday Bake and Take Cookies: Get all your holiday baking finished in just one 4-hour class and take home a dozen each of 8 varieties of cookies, a perfect fit for your busy lifestyle. You’ll be supplied with everything you need to make and decorate your holiday cookies. You will also have a chance for some sweet sampling. You’ll take home Red Velvet cookies, Snowballs, Truffles, Cut Out cookies, Thumbprints and Peanut Butter Kiss cookies. New this year are Russian Tea Cakes and Peppermint Bark. Grab your apron and bring enough containers to hold 8 dozen cookies (hair nets and gloves will be provided). Please arrive on time and stay the full 4 hours (sorry, help with clean-up is mandatory, but it’s fun). Children under 16 are not allowed. All supply costs included in tuition. Class meets in the high school cafeteria for a brief meeting before entering the kitchen. Dec. 14, 9 am-1 pm, $40.
E’couter: Body Psychology: Those aches and pains are your body’s way of getting attention. What is it trying to tell you? In this class, you’ll learn common physical manifestations of emotional pain as well as how to talk our bodies into feeling better. You’ll also talk about different ways to release stress related pain through trigger points and stretches. Dec. 18, 6:30-8 pm, $20.
