Columbia Heights High School presents “Eurydice”

The Columbia Heights High School (CHHS) Theater Department will perform “Eurydice,” by Sarah Ruhl, Thursday-Saturday, Dec. 6, 7 and 8, at 7 pm, and Sunday, Dec. 9, at 2 pm, at the CHHS Performing Arts Center, 1400 49th Ave. NE.

“Eurydice” reimagines the classic myth of Orpheus through the eyes of its heroine. Dying too young on her wedding day, Eurydice must journey to the underworld where she reunites with her father and struggles to remember her lost love. Director Natalie Novacek helms a cast of student actors including Catherine Loper as Eurydice, Adrian Hemmick as Orpheus, and Matteo Dawkins as Father.
