Encore at the Library: Ollivander’s Wand Workshop: Wednesday, June 15, 2-3:30 pm. “The wizard doesn’t choose the wand, but the wand chooses the wizard!” Create your own unique wand under the guidance of an Ollivander’s assistant from Artistry. Arts and crafts materials will be used to make unique individualized wooden wands. Registration required. Best for ages 6-12.
Clay Garden Tiles: Saturday, June 18, 1-3 pm. In this class students will create clay tiles for the garden using slab and coil techniques. Humorous sign posts for your fairy garden, labels for your plants, welcome signs, or simply colorful, whimsical artworks to be tucked between your bushes are all possible projects to be made during this class. Finished works will be clear glazed to increase their durability so your art can enrich your garden for years to come. Registration required. For families. Funded by the Minnesota Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
