Tinker time: Salt dough leaves: Tuesday, Oct. 10, 4:30-6 pm. Measure out ingredients to create a salt dough and use cookie cutters and tools to create fall leaf shapes. Instructions for baking your creations at home will be included. Ages 6-12. Drop in anytime between 4:30-6, no registration required.
DIY teen: Fall glass mosaics: Tues., Oct. 17, 5:30-7 pm. Mosaic is a puzzle of piecing glass together to create an image! Students will learn to cut glass using our special tools and glue them on a glass frame to create a colorful tree! Creations will be taken home to a place where sunshine will illuminate their beautiful glass creations. Ages 12-18. Registration required. This program is funded by the Minnesota Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
Tinker time: Mini pumpkin painting: Tuesday, Oct. 24, 4:30-6 pm. Use paint pens to decorate a mini pumpkin. Make your pumpkin spooky, cute, or both. Ages 6-12. Drop in anytime between 4:30-6, no registration required.
DIY teen: Needle felted succulents: Thurs., Nov. 16, 5:30-7 pm. Needle felting is the process of sculpting loose wool with a needle, creating different shapes and forms. Learn this technique and create a no-maintenance plant to decorate your room. *Please note that this class uses a sharp needle. Ages 12-18. Registration required.
Tinker time: Shrinky Dinks: Tuesday, Nov. 28, 4:30-6 pm. Draw on Shrinky Dink plastic with markers and pencils and then watch them shrink in our toaster oven. Turn your tiny drawing into a keychain, necklace, or pin. Ages 6-12. Drop in anytime between 4:30-6, no registration required.
