Sponsored by the Columbia Heights Music Boosters, this year’s theme is “Celebrating Black History Through the Arts.” “This show will celebrate the spirit of African culture and show how it has survived to influence American music and literature,” said Columbia Academy Music Education Teacher Todd Boyd.

Cost to attend is $10 per person, which includes a pasta dinner, student art gallery and performances by choir, band and theater students. Tickets can be purchased at the door.
