Columbia Heights senior programs

Columbia Heights Senior Program offers the following free activities in March:

St. Patrick’s Potluck Party, Friday, March 15, at noon, at Murzyn Hall, 530 Mill St. NE, in the Senior Center – lower level. Participants should bring something to share other than dessert, which will be provided. Activities will include potluck and St. Paddy games with prizes, noon-1 pm; Mary Kay Satin Hands and Satin Lips Demo (no obligation to buy), 1-2 pm; and Dime Bingo, ($2 worth of dimes- if you want to play the two-card maximum), at 2 pm. Pastel Chalk Art Classes, Fridays, March 22 and 29, 1-3 pm, at Murzyn Hall, 530 Mill St. NE, in the Senior Center – lower level. Pastels are highly pigmented with bright, vivid colors (not like sidewalk chalk). Open to all ability levels but oriented toward beginners. Participants can go one day or both days.
