Columbia Heights Third Annual Community Picnic

The City’s summer event now includes an Art and Craft Fair and Fishing Clinic
The City of Columbia Heights’ annual Community Picnic returns Thursdaay, June 27, from 4:30 – 7 pm at Huset Park West. The picnic will feature an arts and craft fair inside nearby Murzyn Hall Children’s activities will take place around the splash pad. Free tacos and ice cream while supplies last, face painting, a kids’ fishing clinic, free wine samples for adults inside Murzyn Hall, and more than 24 informational booths with officials from city and community organizations.
Vendors still have time to sign up to be included in the art and craft fair. Interested parties can call the city’s recreation department at 763-706-3734 to register. Fee to have a booth in the art fair is $15. Deadline to register is June 20.
Huset Park West is located at 3965 Jefferson St. The picnic shelter is located behind Murzyn Hall at 530 Mill St. While refreshments will be available, residents are encouraged to bring their own picnic items.
