Sculpting Clay Pumpkin Luminaries: Sat, Oct 8, 10:30 am-12 pm. Make a festive pumpkin decoration that can be enjoyed for many years. Use an orange terra-cotta clay to sculpt cute little pumpkin creations designed to safely hold a candle and light up your seasonal displays. Folks can choose to craft a more realistic pumpkin or have a go at creating a fantastic pumpkin creation from their imagination. Pieces will be fired and glazed by artistry and then returned 2-3 weeks after the event. Ages 6+. Registration required. Funded by the Minnesota Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
Tinker Time: Slime. Tues., Oct. 18, 4:30-5:30 pm. Mix up your own slime and experiment with a variety of add-ins to make sizzly, crunchy, or fluffy slimes. Add some scent, knead in some color, and take home your personalized slime. Ages 6-12. Registration required.
