COVID art show at Mercy Vineyard

Mercy Vineyard Church, 752 Harding Streeet NE, will host a free, family-friendly art opening and reception on Saturday evening, March 27, 5-8 pm, to exhibit several artists’ reflections of their experiences during the COVID-19 pandemic. The installation includes work by more than 30 individuals of all ages from the Minneapolis-St. Paul community as well as a collection of pieces from a connected community in California. Individuals used a variety of visual art media and techniques, including cut paper, watercolor, acrylic, oils, alcohol ink, and found items, as they contemplated how COVID has impacted their last year. The event provides a chance to visit with individuals whose work is featured in the exhibit, and includes live music, kids art activities and outdoor refreshments.
