“Currents”

“Currents” by sculptor Cameron Zebrun opens Jan. 14 at the Northrup King Building, 1500 Jackson St. NE, Studio 395. Zebrun’s sculptures incorporate sleek lines, elegant curves and seductive colors derived from nature. Cartography, geography and topography also play important roles in his work. The results are elegant sculptures formed from thin layers of wood on which he paints and collage abstractions based on his observations of nature, most lately in the Pacific Northwest and Canada. The show runs through March 14.
