Days for Girls Sew-a-Thon

The Minneapolis City of Lakes Rotary Club will sponsor a Days for Girls Sew-a-Thon at Northeast United Methodist Church, 2510 Cleveland St. NE, on Saturday, Jan. 20, 9-11 am. Join in sewing and assembling of feminine hygiene kits for distribution to girls in developing countries so they can continue to stay in school and have choices in their lives. No sewing experience is required, and Judy Johnson, Twin Cities Days for Girls coordinator, will guide you through the kit-making process. Feel free to invite friends and family to this fun event.
