Dolina Polish Folk Dancers anniversary concert

The Dolina Polish Folk Dancers of the Twin Cities invite the public to help celebrate their 70th anniversary with a concert Saturday, Nov. 23, at the Fridley High School Theater, 6000 West Moore Lake Drive. Doors open at 5:30 pm with the concert at 6 pm. Along with Dolina, their choir and band, as well as their children’s group, Sloneczniki, and their teen group, Chabry, will perform.

With many members from the Northeast Polish community, the group held rehearsals at PNA Hall for 30 years. Performances during the years have been at church festivals, park celebrations at Logan and Bottineau, and at the old Apache Plaza. Most recently, they performed at the Twin Cities Polish Festival, Holy Cross’ SeptemberFest, and Taste of Northeast. Tickets are $28 for adults and $15 for children. Info and tickets: dolina.org.
