Earth Day cleanup at Father Hennepin Park

Join folks from the Marcy-Holmes neighborhood April 20 as they clean up the shoreline, slopes and park on the east bank of the Mississippi River, where Father Louis Hennepin named St. Anthony Falls. Meet at the corner of 3rd Ave SE and Main Street SE, across from the Pillsbury A Mill, at 9 am. Gloves and tools will be provided by the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board. Please bring a water bottle and wear weather-appropriate clothing and close-toed shoes geared for an outdoor activity on natural and uneven surfaces. Father Hennepin Park, 420 Main Street SE. The event lasts until noon.
