East Bank Mississippi River Care

Join the Marcy-Holmes Neighborhood Association to care for the wild, natural sanctuary on the East Bank of the Mississippi River where bald eagles and great blue herons hunt and the Mississippi once tumbled over massive limestone to create Owamni, later named St. Anthony Falls. Saturday, June 4, 9 a.m.-12 p.m. Participants will restore and care for native habitat, plant native wildflowers and grasses and remove invasive perennials and woody vegetation.
