Eastside Meals on Wheels Annual 2021 Eileen Hafften Memorial Scholarship

Eastside Meals on Wheels (EMoW) announces its annual Eileen Hafften Memorial Scholarship. Individuals who apply must have family who have volunteered with Eastside Meals on Wheels or be dedicated to hunger relief within their service area. Their efforts must impact Northeast Minneapolis, Southeast Minneapolis, or St. Anthony Village. The scholarship must be used for post-secondary education at a college, trade school or continuing education. Eligible candidates are invited to apply for the scholarship which will be reviewed by the family of Eileen Hafften and the Eastside Meals on Wheels Board of Directors. The scholarship of the chosen recipient will be paid directly to the post-secondary education college or trade school. Entries are due by Saturday, April 10. Judging will be in May and the winner will be notified by Monday, May 31. The Eileen Hafften Memorial Scholarship focuses on community service and volunteerism. Eileen was a lifelong volunteer and greatly appreciated the service of others who volunteered.
