Edison High School Green Campus Celebration

Students, families, and community members are invited to the Edison High School Green Campus Celebration, Friday, Sept. 9, 6-6:45 p.m., at Edison High School Plaza, 2030 Monroe St. NE. The event will celebrate the transformation of the high school into a first-of-its-kind “Green Campus” with state-of-the-art stormwater and energy-efficiency features. Edison has become a new model of green infrastructure, able to capture and treat polluted stormwater runoff, harness solar energy, and provide unique, hands-on learning experiences for students. There will be a ribbon cutting at 6 p.m. followed with the season’s first home football game at 7 p.m.
