Creative Nonfiction: Forms and Structures: Thursday, April 18, 6-7:30 pm. Explore a variety of creative nonfiction forms, from the conventional to the experimental. Sample a variety of approaches to the form and structure of creative nonfiction and consider ways to shape stories or collections of stories. Collaborator: The Loft Literary Center. This program is funded with money from Minnesota’s Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund. Free. Registration required: hclib.org or call 612-543-6850.
Artist Talk: Rosa Kittsteiner: Thursday, May 2, 6–7 pm. Meet local artist Rosa Kittsteiner for a talk about her art. The presentation will include a visual retrospective of Rosa’s artistic discoveries – from working the endless possibilities of fish as mythical creatures, to the universe and reality, to her latest perspectives in creative explorations in self portraits. Her exhibit, “Exploration of Self Portraits”, is on display at Pierre Bottineau library through May 11. Time for Q&A. Free, registration not required.
