Craft Northeast presents The Mill City Art Show: Everybody Worships Something, a juried exhibition at Public Functionary, 1400 12th Ave. NE, Friday, Sept. 14, 7-11 pm, Saturday, Sept. 15, 10 am-10 pm, and Sunday, Sept. 16, noon-4 pm.
The show, which includes work from more than 20 selected artists, is hosted by Craft Northeast, a group of artists and creatives who meet regularly to nurture their creativity and help the Minneapolis arts community flourish. While the group is a part of Mill City Church, the show’s mission is “to listen to the community and create a platform for voices of all backgrounds and belief systems, and not to preach or proselytize their own message.”
The show aims to connect artists to a wider range of patrons and buyers, support artists professionally by selling their artwork, and help the arts community flourish. The event is free but donations will be accepted at the door. Info: millcityartshow.com or J.D. O’Brien at 612-978-0332 or jd@jdobrien.tv.
