Facing Climate Change presentation

As part of its ongoing series on climate change, Compassionate Ocean Dharma Center, 652 17^th Ave. NE, is hosting Facing Climate Change, a presentation by mindfulness instructor and spiritual guide Kaia Svien, Friday, Oct. 14, 7-9 p.m. Svien will share the transformative practices developed by environmental activist and Buddhist scholar Joanna Macy.

Before the 7 p.m. meeting, there will be an optional vegetarian potluck at 6 p.m. The presentation and potluck are free.
